Listen.Talk.Learn.

February 8, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

We want to help strengthen the community by facilitating important and difficult discussions on race relations and unconscious bias. Our hope is that our community rebuilds by talking to one another, learning more about communities we have limited exposure to, and bridging our divides through awareness and education.

DAP began offering FREE Listen.Talk.Learn: Dialogue Across Difference Facilitation Sessions (LTL) in September 2014. Our goal during these sessions is to convene members of the community and begin healing together during trying times surrounding race relations and unconscious bias. Any individual or group interested in learning how to navigate difficult dialogue around these topics is encouraged to register for these trainings. Companies and organizations may request to host an LTL community session at their facility.

Attendees will leave the training with the following information:
•Differences between Debate vs. Dialogue
•Facilitation Tips and Strategies
•Strategy for answering difficult and polarizing questions about race, racism, and bias
