The Client Strategies Group is responsible for leading the firm in ensuring our clients are on track to meet their financial goals. As part of the client team, the Client Consultation Group provides tailored financial strategies to high net worth clients by partnering with our branch teams to review and analyze complex client needs and goals.
Senior Wealth Strategists leverage the extensive resources of our home office to support our financial advisors in serving their high net worth clients with complex needs. This position plays a critical role in serving as the primary point of contact between the two groups. You will be called upon as a subject matter expert in your area of expertise and other areas you may like to develop and leverage firm tools and resources to identify solutions to keep High Net Worth investors on-track to meet their financial goals. Additionally, you will apply your subject matter expertise to unique client circumstances and work directly with branch teams and their clients.
You’ll be joining a team of 15 high-energy associates (as part of a larger department with 50+ associates) based with you in St. Louis or Tempe and collaborating with colleagues in St. Louis, Tempe, Arizona and Canada, with tenure ranging from years to decades, dedicated to personal development, inclusion and diversity, and partnering with financial advisors as part of the client team.

Develop solutions-based recommendations for high-net-worth clients with the most complex needs using a team approach which requires technical knowledge for a particular subject matter area in addition to broader financial concepts.
Present recommendations to advisors and clients as part of a team or individually.
Participate in departmental projects and initiatives in order to more deeply serve branch teams and high-net-worth clients.
Contribute to the development of junior wealth strategists and other associates in the department.
Qualifications / Requirements
Qualifications Required for the Job: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•7+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
•Direct client experience as a member of the client's professional team and/or JD or CPA preferred
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Law required
•Series 7 & 66 required or attainable within 6 months of hire
•Insurance license required or attainable within 6 months of hire
•Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) required or process to begin within 6 months of hire and must actively pursue consistent with department policy.
•Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills – ability to simplify the complex
•Personal initiative, ability to collaborate, coach and mentor others
•Strong understanding of Edward Jones processes including the implementation of the financial planning process
•Understanding and alignment with the firm values, beliefs, policies, procedures as well as business objectives
