The main purpose of this job is to manage product life cycles and recommend strategies for present and future deposit products and service by reviewing customers’ needs, competitive landscape and consumer and industry sentiments of deposits across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Mange product life cycles, including performance review of existing products
  • Stay abreast of industry challenges and changing environment
  • Recommend and provide support for strategies for present and future deposits products and services by reviewing customers' needs, competitive landscape, and consumer and industry sentiments of deposits across the United States
  • Work with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, IT, Call Centers, and other Channel partners to deliver strategic and tactical plans
  • Closely collaborate with retail leadership on product development
  • Develop product plans across branch and/or direct bank channels
  • Effectively analyze and report performance trends and develop an action plan to address opportunities for strategic or tactical changes
  • Design and execute upon product testing calendar and projects with prospective and future customers to inform product feasibility, features and design
  • Manage issue resolution - including the identification of issues, developing a resolution plan, and executing the changes needed
  • Assess product data and collaborate with team members on product pricing and placement
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong understanding retail banking experience, understanding of consumer behavior
  • Extensive experience with marketing, product positioning, product and program innovation, channel and client engagement
  • Strong understanding of product P&L through product launch
  • Ability to work with agile product development, product innovation and MVP
  • Proven ability to analyze performance, research, financials, and competitive data to drive strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Ability to have strong influence skills and can effectively build a business case and develop a successful recommendation for buy-in
  • Proven leadership and team building skills with the ability to learn to manage and develop a team
  • Ability to navigate at all levels in the organization
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop presentations/ communications that achieve maximum impact
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years experience in retail banking preferred
  • 9+ years experience in product management in the financial services industry or related experience required

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $100,0000 to $120,000. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
