Location: KC Downtown 811 Main (825 Main)
Time Type: Full time
The main purpose of this position is to provide general support and compliance to certificate of deposit (CDs) and Individual Retirement Account (IRAs) customers by leveraging the CORE Billing Application (CBA).
Responsibilities
- Complete moderate to high complexity processes and consistently deliver strong results
- Complete moderate to high complexity projects, taking identified opportunities from inception thru completion with limited support
- Identify processing improvements leveraging available technology and automation
- Support recurring monthly division reporting and cross train to support partner departments
- Process redemptions, withdrawals, and perform other maintenance on CD and IRA accounts
- Research issues concerning CDs and IRAs (interest payments, redemptions, etc.) and prepare adjustments as necessary
- Respond to inquiries received from internal/external customers and contact them by phone and/or email in a professional and in a timely manner to meet their needs
- Provide a high level of customer service to external customers and internal partners, including phone support
- Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Intermediate knowledge of the banking industry and bank operations, including best practices and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while escalating issues when needed
- Ability to serve as a mentor to team members
- Ability to be proactive and ask questions, offer solutions, retain information, and apply knowledge to a variety of engagements
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3+ years financial services or related experience required
- 3+ years customer service experience required
