Leveraging knowledge of merchant services, including market needs, the Merchant Services Product Manager will be responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver a market competitive product strategy and solution set which meets or exceeds our customer’s requirements.

 

Responsibilities

• Through continuous interactions with customers, prospects and our sales team, identify customer needs and opportunities to solve market problems.
• Collaborating with the commercial payments line of business to refine the product definition, strategy and long -term vision
• Build and present applicable business cases as new product opportunities are identified
• Lead product launch / rollout activities for new product opportunities
• Partner with marketing, sales, product and technology to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
• With limited management oversight, lead pricing and product strategy discussions with product partners
• Actively engage with industry groups and associations as applicable
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

• Strong knowledge of merchant acquiring business and market needs
• Self-driven and organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and exe cute on multiple concurrent initiatives
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Expert product instincts and an ability to balance customer and business impact
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with background in product management, payments, strategy or planning
• Demonstrated product delivery experience commercializing new opportunities from concept to reality
• Experience partnering with FinTechs delivering solutions to market preferred
• Product Management Training / Certification (Pragmatic Marketing, PDMA, etc) preferred
