Core Banking Application System Analyst II Commerce Bank

Location: KC Downtown 811 Main (825 Main)

Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
Document business and systems requirements, defines scope and objectives, translate requirements into specifications, and formulate systems to parallel overall business unit strategies
Provide support, consultation, and recommendations to clients in solving technical challenges that require the Core Banking Application
Monitor systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, troubleshoots, and respond to user inquiries
Act as resource for staff to answer questions, complete research, and resolve issues
Complete testing of Core Banking Application functionality and downstream operational systems
Assess changes to current workflow structures and determine impact of these changes
Document issues during testing and track resolutions
Create and update business procedures to reflect new processes and changes to current processes
Train employees on Core Banking Application functionality and new/updated work processes
Serve as the project coordinator for business partners to implement change on their behalf
Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Intermediate knowledge of technical systems
Ability to perform a basic system functionality within the Core Banking Application
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business or equivalent combination of education and experience required
4+ years experience in banking or payment systems required
