The Brokerage Operations Representative supports the day-to-day operations of Commerce Brokerage Services, its financial advisors and clients as an integral part of the Service team. They support all selling representatives and product managers within the Commerce Brokerage Company.

• Interact with customers and Financial Advisors and assist them with their operational needs and inquiries
• Timely and accurate processing of all operational and processing items for the Brokerage Company, including new accounts, cashiering, securities processing and transfers
• Perform a number of different tasks with a wide range of responsibilities; all involve computing and recording data often pertaining to specialized accounts, cashiering, security processing and transfers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM

Qualifications / Requirements

• Knowledge of operational area of financial services industry, including brokerage or insurance companies and policy/procedures
• Strong customer service experience or skills
• Strong PC skills and ability to learn new applications quickly and with ease
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Value
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree and/or Series 7, 66/63, life/health license preferred
• Strong customer service experience or skills required
• Knowledge of operational area of financial services industry, including brokerage or insurance companies and policy/procedures preferred
