Responsibilities

Job Summary/Essential Functions
- Daily interaction with C-Suite level clients and Technology teams at major companies
- Collaboration with internal bank partners in Commercial Payments to include Commercial Relationship Managers, Commercial Card, Health Care and Treasury teams
- Responsibility for managing an assigned portfolio of 30+ top tier clients in the acquiring space
- Conduct in-person presentations and annual relationship reviews with portfolio clients
- Responsible for retention & expansion by building relationships with assigned accounts
- Cross sell merchant products.
- Assist in negotiation of contract renewals & pricing for existing customers.
- Create, prepare, & present proposals to existing accounts
- Responsible for retention and expansion by building relationships with key personnel of assigned or unassigned accounts
- Ensure clients receive the products and services required to meet their business objectives
- Effectively manage the contract renewal process through defined pricing strategy and negotiation
- With mid to large size businesses, it may be required that an RFP response and/or proposal presentation be created in order to secure the renewal.
- Responsible for meeting with assigned accounts with a minimum of two on-site account reviews per year
- Continuance of education and training as it relates to products, pricing, and services offered, including new product offerings, technical enhancements, and industry changes

Work Schedule
- Full Time, 40 hours per week.
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications / Requirements

- PC exposure and experience in MS Access helpful.
- General knowledge of commercial or consumer credit.

Education/ Experience
- Required:
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance and a banking curriculum or Equivalent Work Experience.
- 1-3 years of specific commercial card, commercial lending, payment processing, merchant bankcard, or sales experience in the areas of sales, marketing, and accounting. Previous Relationship or Account Management experience is desired.
- 2 Years experience (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point).
- 2 Years business-to-business sales, account management, relationship management or support experience.

- Preferred:
- Previous accounting, marketing or software sales experience.
- Contract negotiations experience.
- General knowledge of commercial or consumer credit.
